There are many different diseases and infections that you can get from bacteria but to get rid of them, you need to find a treatment. Diseases can be treated many ways. For example, you can take pills, get your vaccine shots on time, and stay away from things that cause you to become sick. Always cook your food properly and some of the most simplest things you can do is cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough. WAIT! Don't cough or sneeze in your hand! When that happens all the bacteria is now on you hand and when you touch surfaces or people you just spreading it around. Eventually, everybody you touch could get sick THEN the illness travels back to you. Is that any better that eating uncooked meat??? NO! It's just a longer process. So it's best to cover your mouth with your arm. Anyway, here are some of the most common illnesses people catch.
There are many diiferent types of illnesses but lets review the simple ones first:
Vibrio:
Vibrio is a disease that can be caught by humans by eating raw or undercooked shell fish especially oysters because of their ability to filter feed.. It can cause dirreaha, abdominal cramping, headache and naseia. This disease can especially be severe if the person has a less strengthened immune system because the bacteria can get into your bloodstream and that sometimes can be life threatning. It is preventable by taking simple steps. If you are at a restaurant, make sure that your food is well cooked through. It can also be caught by simply swimming in the water, so don't get in the ocean if you have a sore or an open cut or wound.
Escherichia Coli. (E. Coli)
Even though e-coli is commonly found in the human intestine, certain strands of the bacteria can turn to the dark side and produce a toxin that causes a serious infection that can cause kidney infection. This is also an easily preventable disease that has deadly consequences. Just like the shellfish make sure that your ground beef is thoroughly cooked and wash all of your fruits and vegetables before being consumed. Try to also stay away from contaminated water sources (not just for drinking for swimming too.)
